2021春季上課形式將依紐約市教育局公告方式辦理。

上課時間:1月23日至6月13日,週末班:週六週日上午十點至下午一點或週六下午兩點至五點;課後班:週一至週五下午三點到六點;共18堂課。

學費繳費方式:

建議您到校取書時帶支票前來繳費。支票抬頭請寫 NEW YORK CHINESE SCHOOL,並在支票上註記學生姓名和您的聯絡電話,以便註冊組查收。

My name is Guo Sheng, and I am part of the office staff at New York Chinese School.

We are excited to invite you to join us online for the spring semester at New York Chinese School!

We have converted our spring Program into blended online courses with reduced price. Although we are unsure if we will be back in person in this semester, we decided to keep the current tuition rates the same to give back to our students. Attached is the flyer containing more details. Registration fee of $30 will be waived if you made the tuition payment between 10/30-11/15. $30 discount will be applied if you register for more than one course, another $30 discount will be applied if you register for more than one child.

The mode of classes for Spring 2021 will depend on the announcement of the New York Department of Education, you/your children’s health will be our priority.

Schedule: 1/23/2021-6/13/2021, 18 weeks in total

Weekend classes: every Saturday/Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm or Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm

Weekday classes: every Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm

Tuition payment:

We recommend you to bring the check to the office while picking up the textbook during the office hours. Please make the check payable to NEW YORK CHINESE SCHOOL; also, it is important that you include the student’s name and your contact number on the check for us to confirm the payment.

If it is not possible for you to come to Chinatown to pick up the books, you may make the payment by debit/ credit card: currently, we only accept card payment via phone. Please call the office at (212) 226-3320 or (212) 226-332, Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 6 pm. Please have your card information and contact information ready when you call.

We are a non-profit, community-based organization affiliated with the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) of New York, a parent agency of 60 civic and family associations in the New York Chinatown community. New York Chinese School is not only the oldest with the largest campus in North America, but we also provide the most professional campus with top hygiene standards. We were originally established as a school for overseas children in 1909, and we were chartered by the New York State Education Department in 1976. Today, NYCS offers an after-school program for lower-K to K-6 students. We also have weekend K-12 and adult Chinese classes and Cantonese classes to promote Chinese culture through language classes in Mandarin and Cantonese. Additionally, to complement and enrich the learning experience, the school offers a comprehensive list of classes in the creative/performing arts, such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese poetry, dance, drawing/painting, and piano. Students also have the opportunity to join the Crimson Kings Drum Corps, a drum, fife, and bugle corps that is affiliated with the school. http://www.crimsonkings.com/team

We also recruit teachers from public and charter schools to build up a solid foundation in math and English for your children.

Furthermore, under our new pedagogical model, we have built partnerships with Hunter College and City College of New York, welcoming professional Chinese language teachers.
